Time-explicit Hybrid High-Order method for the nonlinear acoustic wave equation

We devise a fully explicit scheme for the nonlinear acoustic wave equation in its second-order formulation time, using HHO method space discretization and leapfrog time integration. The key idea explicitation is an iterative procedure to approximate at each step static coupling between cell face unknowns. This based on splitting of stabilization operator and, linear case, proved converge large enough weight uniformly mesh size. Increasing turns out have moderate impact CFL condition. numerical experiments demonstrate computational efficiency compared semi-implicit
